I Have No Heaven to Offer

You will need no faith in me
No dogma amongst just dogs
Never to pray, and hardly to beg
Have only the wine, and also the bread
Pooh-pooh from the pew should you have the urge
And scream interrupting my sermon, purge
Leave crumbs in my cathedral, wipe grease all down your best
Molest me with confession and never do confess
High alive, in spirit drunk
A white light shown, shine off of sweat
Needn’t accept me in to your deepest
Unless in your darkest you feel that you need it
I have no heaven to offer
You have only heaven to find
The heart’s not always open
But never do you mind
